Member Services Representative/Combination Tech
McCone Electric Co-op, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of full-time Member Services Representative/Combination Tech to join the MEC team.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist Member Services Manager/Safety and Compliance Manager with all safety and compliance issues, assist with member education and marketing, and train to do underground locating, fault finding, and repairs. In addition to, installing heat meters, researching and explaining high usage complaints, maintenance of buildings and grounds, and assisting with open houses, meetings, and fairs. At times, work involves moving and lifting heavy transformers, water heaters, rolls of wire, etc., by hand and with equipment. Assist the line department with pole testing and record keeping. Work is inside and outside, which includes working and driving in inclement weather. Other duties may be included.
Qualifications - Strong customer service skills, electrical knowledge, power line construction, or line worker experience would be beneficial, but not required. Must be organized and a team player. Have the ability to work with co-workers and member consumers in a courteous and professional manner. Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new software, clear communication, and active listening skills.
